Chicken Salad For The Soul


Are you ready to elevate your salad game with a mouthwatering and wholesome dish? Look no further! This delicious chicken salad recipe is a perfect blend of flavors and textures that will leave you craving more. Get ready to embark on a culinary adventure that will tantalize your taste buds. I always make this when I have leftover uncooked chicken breasts or thighs.


Step 1:

Boil your chicken in salted water.


Step 2:

Dice all your ingredients while your chicken is cooking and put them into a big mixing bowl.


Step 3:

Once the chicken is cooked all the way through, cut it into pieces then put it into a food processor. If you don't have a food processor, you can take two forks and pull the chicken by hand.


Step 3

Combine the chicken with the diced ingredients. Add mayonnaise and mustard






Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts or thighs

  • Fresh Dill to taste

  • 2 TBS Dijon Mustard

  • 1 pinch of Salt

  • 1 pinch of Pepper

  • Handfull of Raisins

  • 1/4 diced Apples

  • 1/4 cup diced Red onions or scallions

  • 1 stalk celery

  • 2 TBS pumpkin seeds (optional)


I like to serve them inside lettuce wraps and/or crackers. Enjoy your delicious and healthful snack!
